Many believers today ask the same question; "What should my countenance as a believer be?". Secular humanism has made it so that a believer should practically live as a passive entity. However, what does the Bible tells us your visage should be?
In Ezekiel 1:10, the prophet talks about an account with a human face in the front, the face of a lion on the right side, the face of an ox on the left side, and the face of an eagle at the back. Also, John in Revelation 4:7 spoke about the first of living beings who looked like a lion; the second was like an ox; the third had a human face; and the fourth was like an eagle in flight. Both Bible accounts were given by Ezekiel and John when they were in the spirit, they saw what humanity should really represent.
- The seeing believer
This is a believer with the face of an eagle. A believer that will change systems for the gospel must be ready to see the will of God and follow it squarely. Action must follow every believer's vision, life is found when you get a vision! Proverbs 29:18 says,"When people do not accept divine guidance, they run wild. But whoever obeys the law is joyful." This shows that your vision is your divine guidance.
- The praying Believer
This is represented by the face of a ox. The ox is responsible for work done. As a believer, you do your main work in the place of prayer. Miracles are produced and reproduced in the place of intense prayer.
Isaiah 66:8-9 says "Who has ever seen anything as strange as this? Who ever heard of such a thing? Has a nation ever been born in a single day? Has a country ever come forth in a mere moment? But by the time Jerusalem’s birth pains begin, her children will be born. Would I ever bring this nation to the point of birth and then not deliver it?” asks the lord.
“No! I would never keep this nation from being born,” says your God.
If any of a man's plan is disrupted, it's not God's fault it is simply such man who has refused to work. He has refused to work in the place of prayers. Eloquence, education or elegance does not matter if you do not release power in the prayer room into all you do.
- The Kingly Believer
A believer has to have the Lion's aura. That majestic, collosal aura is not something an average man can copy. Life punishes timidity,so you are not expected as a King's child(Most high king for that matter) to be timid! The Bible in Ecclesiastes 8:4 says His command is backed by great power. No one can resist or question it. You have gotten power in the place of prayer,no one should have the audacity to resist your command. That means treasuries are opening up to you, that means your health is improving by leaps, that means you cannot fail!
- The Humane Believer
You do not have to misuse your power just because you are a kingly believer, you have to learn to keep your integrity,do not use people anyhow, appreciate them when necessary,be the man anyone has to think of when they are in trouble just like Daniel! The Bible in Daniel 5:10-12 says,"But when the queen mother heard what was happening, she hurried to the banquet hall. She said to Belshazzar, “Long live the king! Don’t be so pale and frightened. There is a man in your kingdom who has within him the spirit of the holy gods. During Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, this man was found to have insight, understanding, and wisdom like that of the gods. Your predecessor, the king—your predecessor King Nebuchadnezzar—made him chief over all the magicians, enchanters, astrologers, and fortune-tellers of Babylon. This man Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar, has exceptional ability and is filled with divine knowledge and understanding. He can interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve difficult problems. Call for Daniel, and he will tell you what the writing means.”
A believer has to have one or more of these visages at the right time, when you need to be an ox, you are not expected to be humane! No dark forces will pity you because you pity them! At the same time, you cannot afford to be an eagle when all you need to be is to be the lion of that society you are in. You cannot keep receiving visions upon visions without going out boldly with them and making them come to pass. Ask the Holy Spirit of truth to guide you to know what countenance to put on per time.
