God's Wisdom and Our Message

Going out on an outreach in this day and time is seen as an arduous task by many. A common excuse given is the fact that there is a high level of unbelief amongst everybody preached to. One person wants to see proofs,another wants to see signs and another wants to hear impressive words filled with a lot of grammar.

God's Wisdom and Our Message by Akinjobi Oluwagbemisola

However, as believers who have been sent to bring this perverse generation back to God,our main aim should be to bring the message of Christ's crucifixion,death and rising by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Apostle Paul encourages us to tell God's great plans using plain words and very few human wisdom.

1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

God,by His wisdom has made what seems to be a foolish thing to do in the eyes of men to be the only way through which any man can be saved. He has made even the lowest things on Earth to talk of His loving kindness.

1Co 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

1Co 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are.

I have seen people ask, "Why does God have to do this?" To man's thinking,it cannot be comprehended why a man has to die for the world to be saved but God has chosen the most "foolish" things so that no man may glory in himself.

So,dear young evangelist,when next you are out on the outreach field,never try to convince anyone with your own words that Christ died,was buried and is raised for their sakes,never try to use human reasoning to answer some questions you may be asked as to them who are perishing,it is great nonsense. You should only ask for the Holy Spirit of God to accompany your words with mighty signs and wonders and there will be many harvest of men. This is so that your glory and that of your converts will be in the Lord always.
