Our world today is digital and upwardly mobile. This means that we are inclined to technological advancements and as believers, we are not left out. Today, there are many mobile and desktop applications available that can support our spiritual journey and help us remain spiritually-inspired. I love the idea of using technology to help me on my way to enlightenment.  To help me live mindfully, and at ease. I was fed up with how such an important item in my life had little spiritual value. I decided to transform my phone and share with you, my top 5 apps to enhance your spiritual journey.

 
There is no reason why we cannot use technology to our advantage and incorporate it into our spiritual journey as Christians. Many people carry their phones around all day and for most of us, you might feel a little lost without your phone. It will definitely take you some minutes to adjust if you leave your phone behind and that is just the same way it happens for the apps on your phone. Here are a few Spiritual Growth Apps you might want to consider: 

1. YouVersion Bible

Enjoy hundreds of versions of the Bible, including audio, bookmarks, notes and reading plans. YouVersion is an online and mobile bible platform published for Android,Ios and many other operating systems; it also supports a variety of other platforms. In 2020, according to YouVersion, its Bible App features 2,062 Bible versions in 1,372 languages, audio Bibles for popular versions, offline capabilities, as well as over 800 Bible Plans on specific topics, portions of the Bible, the entire Bible, and devotionals.
 

2. iDisciple

iDisciple is a wonderful app for messages, devotions, music, videos, and more. iDisciple is great for people who like to scroll through social media like Facebook and interact with the videos or articles that pop up in their feed. With iDisciple, you can:

This app allows you to add verses and whole sections when you're trying to really absorb scripture. The app is easy to navigate, and uses an effective method for memorization by slowly removing words from the verses you're memorizing until you're able to type it all from memory. The free version of the app uses the King James Version, but you can elect to purchase nearly any popular translation, along with translations of individual verses.
