5 Steps to Help You Reap Your Harvest As a Believer

As Christians, we walk by faith and not by sight. We have faith that when we stand on the word, we can get our healing, we can get our prosperity and we can operate on a whole new level of favour among men. However, it's saddening to see that very few people share testimonies enjoying what should have been a norm for the believer. The average believer out there has refused to see the power of God as spinal to him or her.

The fault does not really lie with the believer, the fault lies on external forces which the believer allows to affect him.

This year, how can you as a believer walk in the promise that God has given you through Christ? How can you enjoy divine health, prosperity and take over your sector? There are 5 tips that will help you reap your harvest in wealth, health, finances or accomplishments.
 

1. Do not see Obstacles. See the harvest

It's unavoidable that tribulations and problems will rise but as believers, we should learn to keep the hope alive that Christ has overcome the world for our sales. We should keep our eyes fixed on the one who has promised us a good end. Keep your eyes on the harvest field and have an expectation that things will turn out well.

2. Stop Reading the news and start deliberately reading testimonies of breakthroughs.

This might sound odd but the fact is that what you see constantly affects your mood, your mentality and attitude to life. Checking the financial column in the newspaper everyday and seeing how the economy is going downhill will subconsciously make you doubt the promise of God about your prosperity. Seeing wealthy people dying of illnesses or being kidnapped daily will put fear in you and make you forget about the word of God which says, "Nothing shall by any means hurt you."

Now, this doesn't mean you should remain ignorant of whatever is going on in the country but you should not allow it get to the core of your being if you must reap a massive harvest.

3. Start feeding on the word of God that will enlarge your heart and act on it voraciously.

In 1st kings 4:29, "And God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding exceeding much, and largeness of heart, even as the sand that is on the sea shore."

A man who will enjoy a massive harvest must have an enlarged heart which can only be gotten by God. Earthly heart enlargement is nothing compared to the largeness God can give you. Stand on His word, trust Him enough to shift you to a higher level where you can see yourself as rich, as healthy, as favoured, as a take-over candidate and as a repairer of breaches.

4. Stay away from people that speak negatively.

Your associations matters every time. When problems arise, what group of people are around you? Those who complain with you or those who pray with and for you?

Acts 4:23-24 gives us a perfect example of what a believer should do in the face of trials. "And being let go, they went to their own company, and reported all that the chief priests and elders had said unto them.And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is."

Note their next actions after being threatened and emulate it.

5. Spend time in Praying and Planning with Prophecies

When God wants to bless a man, He shortens the distance between that man and the prophet. When words have been spoken over you, don't just receive them and forget about it. Write them down, record the audio if possible, pray with them and lastly, plan with it. Let the words of prophecies that have been spoken over you be at the centre of your plans.

Observing all of these has yielded results and is still yielding results in people's lives. Jump in and experience a shift!
