John is a young man in his early forties. Married to his wife, Clara with two kids - James and Joy, he works at a construction company and earns a good pay. It seemed as though he had all he needed within the snap of his fingers, except the fact that he didn't want to surrender under the Lordship of Jesus.

Despite the seemingly good life, John is a drunk, sex addict and cheat. He had no sort of discipline when it comes to morality and he always chased after women. All efforts to bring him to his senses by preaching the love of God through salvation proved abortive.

One day, tired of the whole situation, his wife and two kids took a separate time to intercede for their father. It was really a challenging time for the family. Each time, Joy the youngest child would always pray that God should show his might by saving her father.

Few weeks later, during one of John's adventures, John was returning home from the club when he had a ghastly motor accident that landed him in the hospital, with serious internal bleeding and wounds. After the doctors' diagnosis, the result showed that he has some few hours left to live. The news hit the family members like thunder bolt, it felt like their world were crumbling. Just at that point they decided to intercede for John again. "God, even if you're going to take my father. Please give him the last chance to accept you." - That was actually the voice of Joy weeping profusely while praying.

The family decided to visit Him for the last time. There was abrupt silence in the room, you could definitely hear if a pin drops on the floor at this point. Clara with the children face to face with John who's looking somewhat lifeless, though still breathing and can mutter some few words. "I'm deeply sorry for everything I caused you and the children" was all John could mutter.

Before Clara could say a word, the kids has surrounded him on the bed while giving him a compassionate hug assuring him that Jesus loves him coupled with the fact that Jesus didn't come for those that are whole. But those ones that are sick  'caught up in the web of sin'. The actual reason why Christ died for mankind. (John 3:16)

Before they finished the speech, John was already remorseful and decided to give his life to Christ. John accepted the life of Christ and was re-united with his family. Though, he gave up the ghost before the next day as a result of the accident.

----------------------------------------------

During Jesus stay here on earth; He did confirm to us that he actually didn't come for those that are whole but those that are sick.

"But when Jesus heard that, He said to them,  They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

But go you and leran what that means, I will have mercy and not sacrifice: For I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. " (Matthew 9:12-13)

He did came for the lost sheep, that particular one that has gone astray. That one that has lost his way, that one that has forgotten the truth. Yesssss, he actually came for that one "The reckless love of the Father". He's the way to the Father according to St.John. (John 14:6)

Thus, if Christ is life - personified from the beginning and he came to give life. (John 10:10)

He then didn't come for the whole (Those with the life of God) but for the sick (The ones without the life of God).

Literarily, Jesus didn't come for the good guys, he came for the bad guys!

...He came to lead the sick ones back to their maker

...He came to restore men

...He came for the dirtiest of all

...He came for the impure of all

...He came for that guy in your neighbourhood

...He came for that lady in your office

...He came for that particular person you're avoiding

And most importantly,  Jesus needs you! He wants to use you just the way He used Clara and the kids for John in the story.

He needs you to heal that sick guy (Give him/her The life of Christ. He needs you to minister life to people. He also wants you to reflect His light through your life

...He needs you to assume your position as a life-giving spirit and to intercede for the sick (Those without the life of Christ).

And if you're among the sick (Those without the life of Christ ) and you're wondering if Jesus can save you. Remember John in the story, John the dirtiest of all. But Jesus still came through for Him.

Yes! Jesus can come through for you too no matter how weighty your sins are.

"Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." (Isaiah 1:18)

He's ready to accept you, just mutter a word of prayer wherever you are!
