Biography of Evangelist Bisi Alawiye-Aluko

Born on 23rd July, Evangelist Shindara Olabisi Alawiye-Aluko (JP) is a ministry vessel unto honour and an Oracle of the Almighty God who is anointed with a mandate to pronounce the year of liberty to the captives. Evangelist Dr. Bisi Alawiye-Aluko was born to the family of Alfa Abdul-Kareem and Revered Ap. Mother Alawiye almost 5 decades ago. She hails from Ilesa, Osun State, Nigeria.

Also known as Mama Akanni and Mama Shindara by different people, Evangelist Bisi Alawiye  is a Yoruba gospel music minister and astute artiste whose dexterity in eulogising the name of God is vast and rooted. She is also the founder of the Bisi Alawiye Aluko Concepts Ltd, a gospel music production outfit.

Growing up, Prophetess Bisi Alawiye attended the Oranmiyan Memorial Grammar School and then proceeded to study Accounting at the Osun State College of Education, Esa-Oke. After her insatiable quest for intellectual acumen has been doused, a divinely higher call propelled her to produce her first album titled Lana-komi in the year 1999. Since then, she has not relented on her oars as she keeps waxing stronger in evangelizing the gospel of Christ through music.

To date, she has released many inspirational songs which has earned her recognition both home and abroad. This dynamic, versatile and well travelled lady of song was conferred with PhD Doctor of music from the prestigious Staton University in Florida, America in 2003. A shelve full of award of recognitions and a call that has expanded across the world.

Evangelist Bisi Alawiye is happily married to her heartthrob, Evangelist Aluko. In 2019, after 9 years of waiting, she put to bed. According to her, birthing a child after nine years of waiting was the fulfilment of the God's prophecy in her song titled "Kotodiwoyiola"
