World Prayer Stretch Day 19: Prayers for Benin

Prayer

Lord we thank you for Benin. Thank you for your light in this land.

Dear God, our trust is in you. Help us overcome the vices of the enemy and save us from every wrong situation. Teach our nation to let go of all the sadness and frustration that stops us from seeing the goodness of the people, nations and things around us. Take away evil thoughts from our leaders and help them to make decisions that will not hurt the citizens.

When everything seems impossible, make a way Lord, and heal our land. When we are ashamed, remind us to be resilient and firm in you. Let us remember that You are bigger than our national and collective fears. We pray too that You continuously surround us with the right support from the international community.

Save our land from war. We pray that there shall be no massive death of any kind. There shall be no plague upon the land. We avert every tragedy coming in the guise of natural or man-made disasters. The devil shall not have his way because we conquer in prayers in Jesus' name.

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
