The scripture is replete with many instances of God's faithfulness. The story of the children of Israel being delivered from Pharaoh is an act of God's faithfulness. His promise to Abraham, and its fulfillment is also an act of his faithfulness. It is no doubt that God is indeed faithful.
The Lord whom we serve has in many ways demonstrated his faithfulness to us such that if we decide to take an inventory of his faithfulness, we'll be unable to name all. The fact that you're alive today is proof of his faithfulness. The fact that he promised you and then fulfilled his promise shows you that he is faithful.
Does it look like the situation is overwhelming? Do you feel like he is not faithful? God is faithful regardless of that situation. Let's see the passage below,
"Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered." (Psalm 40:5).
Thinking about God's faithfulness, he couldn't even recall all, and so he had to summarise by saying, many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done [meaning, You're just so faithful, and many things You've done to show You're indeed faithful. Your faithful works are just so many], and thy thoughts which are to us-ward [even your many thoughts toward us is a proof of your faithfulness].
Then he says, they cannot be reckoned in order unto thee [meaning, they are so many that I can't count them in order of their occurrences]: If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered [ and even if I try to declare all, they are just too many, and it will be impossible for me to do that]. Glory to God.
When we say God is faithful, we most times tend to look away from those times when we faced challenges too forgetting that it was his faithfulness that made him victorious. Even in those challenges, his works are still wonderful. You should praise him still.
Daily Nugget: The works and thoughts of the Lord towards us are proof of his faithfulness. God is indeed faithful.
Prayer: Lord, help me to praise you at all times even when faced with challenges; to remember that you are faithful regardless.
