World Prayer Stretch Day 60: Prayers for Finland

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we welcome you to Day 60 of our Prayer stretch for countries across the world. Today, we are praying for Finland. Kindly find the prayers below:

 

Prayer

Lord we thank you for Finland. Thank you for your light in this land.

Let the spirit of true repentance and holiness spread through our land like wildfire in harmattan. Let our hearts be reunited with the Father and let our altars be re-ignited to burn for you alone oh Lord. We renounce every form of idol worship that has taken your place in our lives as a people. We enter a season of national remorse and we pray that you heal our land from today in the name of Jesus. 

Cause us to do your will and give us great increase. Help our hearts to yield and heed your instructions. Help us to remain plugged in to your Holy Spirit so we don’t all for the devices of the devil. From today, we consecrate our national and corporate destiny as well as our personal lives to do your will. 

Because we have humbled ourselves to do your will oh Lord, do that which you alone can do in our lives. Cause us to become an international monument that points other nations to you. Destroy the plan of the enemy over our nation and cause us to prosper even in barren lands. Show us your mercy always in Jesus’ mighty name. 

Let every good prophecy that has gone into the future for our land begin to work in fulfilment. We pray in the name of Jesus that sadness and frustration shall cease from our land. Save us from any impending wars, crime and terrorism. Turn the hearts of kidnappers and abductors towards you. Let  the stubborn and unrepentant enemies of our country begin to attack themselves in Jesus' name.

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
