Biography of Evangelist Sola Oki

Born on January 8th, Evangelist Sola Oki Bayode is an itinerant Evangelist and Teacher of God’s word whom God is using mightily to bring revival in the Body of Christ through his preaching and teaching ministry in various church denominations, campus fellowships and conferences. He ministers the word of God in various meetings where sinners are converted, the sick are healed and the oppressed are delivered by the power of the Holy Spirit. 

The Liberation Time Evangelistic Ministries which he presides over produces thousands of Gospel Tracts and booklets for new converts for free distribution. The ministry also organises two special monthly discipleship programmes. The first is called Pass It On. It takes place every first Monday of the month at his ministry office base in Akure. The second holds at his residence on the second Monday of the month and is called Sola Oki and Friends (SOF).

In 2014, he brought some ministers of like mind together and that partnership began a quarterly programme for youths tagged D-Pattern. It is today an effective channel in preparing and releasing more labourers into the Lord’s vineyard.

Evangelist Sola Oki, as he is fondly addressed is a prolific author. He has over thirty titles to his name. The books are blessing thousands of believers around the world. They are sold mainly during his itinerary meetings and ministry programmes. Soft copies of his books can also be bought on several digital sales channels all over the world. 

He met his wife while serving as an executive at the IVCU. At the time she was the hall representative of the popular Queen Idia Hall

He resides in Akure the Ondo state capital, South West Nigeria with his wife, Olutoyin and their four children (two boys and two girls): Korede and Kolade, Demilade and Tejumade.

Before he was called into ministry during his compulsory one year service to the nation in 1994, he was in Nigeria’s premier University of Ibadan, Ibadan between 1989 and 1994 where he bagged a B.Sc. (honours) degree in Geology. He is an alumni member of the famous campus Christian fellowship; the Ibadan Varsity Christian Union (I. V. C. U.) where he served in the General Executive first as Zik Hall representative (pastor) in 1991/1992 and later in the Central Executive as the Prayer Secretary of the fellowship in 1992/93 session.
