Biography of Minister Oluwadamilare Samuel Ogundoyin (Dare Justified)

Born on May 3rd, 1991, Minister Oluwadamilare Samuel Ogundoyin (Dare Justified) is a spirit filled gospel musician, recording artiste, praise and worship leader. He is a native of Oyo State, Nigeria and was born as the last child into a humble Christian family of eight.

Minister Dare Justified grew up in Oyo State. He attended the Christ Apostolic Church founded by the revered Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola. His parents were Ministers and Church elders so they always forced him and his siblings to church whenever they didn’t feel like. On some occasions, his mother had forced him to attend women only prayer meetings where she asked him to pray and sing for the women. According to Minister Dare Justified, his mother would always hand pick him among his siblings, because he was the last child and even when he cried in opposition , there was nothing he could do but to follow her to the church. As a result of this experience, music became a strong part of him. He developed his love for gospel music and thereafter joined the junior choir.

Afterwards, Minister Dare joined a music band which boosted his love for worshipping God through songs. He began to attend Praise Concerts anywhere, any time and at any cost, trekking far distances even when he had no fares. 

I exhaust a lot of energy during ministration. This is why I get soaked from head to toe with my sweat. After all these I would trek back home joyfully, and sometimes they will give me egg roll and water. 

I was born into the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) family; that has been part of me up to this time, because this is the kind of music we do, For me, my root is very deep, we sing mostly in Yoruba, especially in songs of crusade, worship songs, praise. I believe my strength is from my root.

Minister Dare Justified had his primary and secondary education in Lagos state, Nigeria. He is a graduate of National open university of Nigeria (NOUN) with a degree in mass communication.

Though, he has always love to minister which made him joined the choir of his church back in the days when he was at 14.

He happily got married to the love of his life in August 2019 and the union are blessed with a kid.

I can’t say the number of years in particular, but I have been in church choir all my life. I grew up in the Christ Apostolic Church. My parents are leaders in the church, so it’s mandatory that we the children must be church workers. I joined the teenage choir at age 14.

Minister Dare Justified is remarkably known for his unusual music style; As a die-hard worshiper, he aptly believes in deep worship using his mother tongue and native dialect (Yoruba).

I later joined a band and the love to worship God kept increasing. It got to a point that I didn’t miss praise concert either in the day or night even beyond my environment. In fact, I trekked, even when I didn’t have fare fee. Nothing has changed about the way I worship God. I exhaust a lot of energy during ministration. This is why I get soaked from head to toe with my sweat, maybe because I don’t like heat. After all these I would trek back home joyfully, and sometimes they will give me egg roll and water. That has been my journey, and that has helped me to be where I am today. God be the glory, because the story is changing for good.
