In a first of its kind event in Nigeria, the Mount Zion Institute of Christian Drama in Affiliation with the Ajayi Crowther University, graduated its pioneer students from the institution.
The Convocation Ceremony of the students of Diploma in Performing Arts (Christian Drama) which held on the 8th of December, 2022 was a long journey to break records and set a pioneer pace in an academic course that has not been taken in any Academic Institution before now.
The course is hosted by the Mount Zion Institute (MZI) of Christian Drama in Affiliation with Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo Main Campus, ACU, Oyo.
Evangelist Mike Abayomi Bamiloye while congratulating the 96 Pioneer Pacesetters via his official social media handles mentioned that the course took on numerous and tedious class lectures, many individual practical works, diverse group works, and eight special live theatrical productions. The special live theatrical productions also include stage adaptations of the following Mount Zion Movies - Esin Ajoji, Captives of the Mighty, Apoti Eri, The gods are dead, Covenant Child and Perilous Times.
The Diploma in Performing Arts (Christian Drama) Course also included one major long essay (thesis), ten online research works and two public presentations of "Night of Ijalo" and "Darkest Night" among others.
