Born on 27th April 1987, Pastor Oluwajimi (Jimmy) Othniel Odukoya is a Nigerian Pastor, actor, and musician. He is the Senior Pastor and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Fountain of Life Church, Lagos, having succeeded his father, the church's founder Pastor Taiwo Odukoya, following his death in August 2023. Beyond ministry, he is a known Nollywood actor, notable for playing Oba Ade in the Hollywood film The Woman King alongside Viola Davis.
Early Life & Family
Pastor Jimmy Odukoya was born into a family deeply rooted in Nigerian Christian ministry as the first son of Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, co-founders of The Fountain of Life Church in Ilupeju, Lagos, which his father established in 1992. His mother, Pastor Bimbo Odukoya, a well-known preacher, counselor, and author, died in the December 2005 Sosoliso Airlines crash. His father later remarried (to Nomthi, a South African pastor, who died of cancer in November 2021) before his own death on August 7, 2023, in the United States.
Jimmy has a full sister, Pastor Tolu Odukoya-Ijogun, ordained in June 2016 and now the church's Associate Senior Pastor and Music Director, and a younger sister, Tobi Odukoya-Enuha.

Ministry Career
According to The Fountain of Life Church's own published pastoral bio, Pastor Jimmy was ordained as a minister in Oklahoma in 2007, and ordained in Nigeria in 2009 by his father. He went on to lead the church's youth ministry and, in 2019, launched The CAVE, an initiative aimed at reaching younger congregants with a more contemporary expression of faith.
Following his father's death, the church's Board of Trustees unanimously elected Jimmy as Senior Pastor and Board Chairman, with his installation held on September 30, 2023 — his sister Tolu was confirmed as Associate Senior Pastor the same day. Since taking on the role, he has drawn national media attention for blending an outspoken, modern personal style (his dreadlocks and fashion choices have both drawn commentary) with his pastoral responsibilities, and has been described as one of the most talked-about figures in contemporary Nigerian Christian ministry.
