How to Pray when your Work isn't Working
Yemi, yemi.... kept ringing down within, coupled with tiny noises from various stands that's, co- manager on my call for the sixth time today in a space of 3minute. yes at times you may feel unfit for the task that's come, it may be duties at office, academic works, personal goals and objective or even other's goals and objective for you then God's divine purpose, which all comes with some works to embark on, it's much overwhelming, a fact but lets look through the Bible.
Now, recall the story of Mosses who complained and felt insufficient to perform the task appointed to him, however he came through, also remember Noah who refused to fulfill his assignment too, but he also came through and it all turned out well.
The point here is, there's no task given that 'You can not Handle' God who made you then assigned you to planet earth knows all that will before you and he has embedded you with the wisdom and Grace for all that is to come, so why stress? ..In Philippians 4:6-7 (New International Version), Paul says,
6. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
7. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
He says “But in everything, by prayer and petition….present your requests to God”.

Prayer can be seen as a seed that comes from the heart, planted in heaven's field for intercession and plead. seeds signifies how genuine and completely surrendered your all is before, during and after prayers, along side with, your coming before with forgiven and a forgiving spirit .... A broken heart, some prayers are,
Prayer by Physical Position- you pray about the situation and pray yourself out
Prayer for God's Guidance (a prayer of commitment and asking God to take stand)
Prayer by Self disciplined acts- These includes habits as having a prayer journal for your prayers and requests
Prayer by Complete surrender- Bringing all to the throne of Grace through God's word
Prayer by God's security through Ephesians 6:10-18 (The Armor of God)
Conclusion
When prayer is subjected to all challenges, things turn right and come through, you should pray in all times without ceasing, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you” (1 Thessalonians 5:16- 17) when work is or isn't working for it serves for the forthcoming times.
Psalm 90:17 gives us a way to ask God for help in our workday, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us.” Colossians 3:23 inspires us and tells us to work from the heart: “Whatever you do, do it from the heart, as something done for the Lord and not for people.”.
