Mary Magdalene was a string woman of faith who had been healed of seven demons by Jesus, and her loyalty to him was unwavering.

Mary Magdalene was known to have provided for Jesus Christ and his disciples out of her own means. She was also present at the crucifixion and burial of Jesus. She was the first person to see Jesus after his resurrection. The bible records that she went to the tomb on the third day and found it empty. When she turned around, she saw Jesus, but she did not recognize him at first. He asked her why she was crying, and she responded that she was looking for his body. Jesus then revealed himself to her, and she became the first person to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ. Her story serves as an example of faith and dedication, and she remains an important figure in Christianity today.

Mary's story highlights the capacity for personal transformation. She went from a life of sin to becoming a devoted follower of Jesus, showing that people can change and find redemption. Mary started out as a person who was bound by sin, but she became a shining example of God's redemptive power. She was set free from her past and given a new life in Christ Jesus. Like Mary, we don't let our past dictate how we see ourselves. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, " Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old had gone, the new is here ".

This is a message of hope to us as christians. No matter how lost or broken we may feel, God can redeem and restore us.

She was a true disciple of Jesus, and her story shows the importance of commitment and loyalty in the christian life.

3. Serving God is never in vain

After the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, Mary did not give up her position of service to God. Mary Magdalene was discouraged and sad , but she still believed that Jesus was the Messiah. Mary was the first person to see Jesus alive because she continued to serve God. The book of Luke 24:1-3 tells us that, " But at daybreak on the first day of the week  ( the women) took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus". Mary could have stayed home and mourned or even waited till later in the day to bring the spices to the tomb, but Mary had a servant's heart. She rose early in the morning to serve Jesus and to honor him in the best way.

Mary's story teaches us the about the importance of service. She was not only a follower of Jesus, but she also became a leader and teacher in the early church. Throughout history, women have been treated as less than the equal partner that they were created to be. They weren't even thought of as reliable witnesses in a court. But Jesus gave women the opportunity to be the first witnesses of his resurrection. He trusted them to pass this marvelous good news. And they did.

People in the world today are lonely and feeling hopeless and Jesus Christ is trusting you to go and tell them the good news of the gospel. The good news of the gospel is that ' Jesus saves' !
