Being your wife is a daily blessing. But on this special day, I really want to let you know. 

Standing by your side throughout all these years has been one of my greatest joys. And when life gets shaky, I can lean on you to help me get re-centered. Knowing you always have my back just as much as I have yours gives me deep serenity.

I am beyond grateful for the beautiful life and family God has given us — and I can’t wait to see what else He has in store. I could say so much more, but I’ll just stop here and tell you that I love you more than words could ever express. Happy 42nd anniversary, my forever sweetheart!

He is the senior pastor of The Potter's House, a non-denominational American megachurch in Dallas, Texas. Jakes's church services and Evangelistic sermons are broadcast on The Potter's Touch. He is the author of many books and also produces films. 

He is happily married to Serita Jakes and they are blessed with children
