Christian Poetry: Love

A word?

A feeling?

Or a person?

Oxford dictionary before her, her not-so-big hands flipped through in search of that word. That father's whispers assure her of! That mother's broad smile strengthen her with!

She is growing. Her hormones gush through her soul, a patent but naive channel. Roses in the air! Butterflies in her stomach! She had fallen for him - tall, not dark, handsome and dangerously intelligent.

For her, mother says God is love. Father doesn't say otherwise. In fact, uncle has experiences as evidence. And she has to learn, find out for herself, Is God love?
