If you could learn to sow rice,

and beans,

and corns in the Earth,

as Arókoyò, son of Àgbédùn.

If you could learn to wait for the rice,

and beans,

and corns to germinate and grow and yield more,

as Àgbédùn, son of Àgbésànmí.

Then, you, my sons, Ore-ọfẹ and Ìfẹ-mimo,

could sow your hopes,

and dreams,

and visions in the Maker.

And you could wait for your hopes,

and dreams,

and visions to germinate and grow and yield more as the Maker gives increase.
