Christian Poetry: Fool's Gold

The one I chose;

dark and dazzling,

a virile young deer,

finest apple tree in the orchard with no orchardist.

The one I saw;

lily among the thorns,

yet dark and beautiful.

A bed of roses, outside the Father's landmark.
