From what started as rumours, sadly, it has now been confirmed that Gospel Actress Toluwalope Adegboyega who acted as Flora in Abattoir series is dead.
Flora, who captivated audiences with her performances, reportedly passed away on February 4th, 2025, following a car accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in December.
The news has left everyone in shock, as it is coming just after the mourning of the sudden death of Dr. Moses Korede Are, a veteran actor who was most famous for playing Baba Gbenro in the Christian Movie Series, Abattoir.
Evangelist Damilola Mike-Bamiloye, son of the founder of the Mount Zion Faith Drama Ministry, Mike Bamiloye, confirmed her death in a post on his Instagram on Wednesday.
In his words, “It’s been a few quiet days for me here, still struggling to process the passing of Toluwalope — a fellow drama minister and a light in this world. It’s heartbreaking and difficult to understand, but even in our pain, we continue to trust Him. It was a short run but with lasting impact.”
“My heart goes out to her family. I pray the Lord Himself will comfort them beyond what words can express. May His presence strengthen them in this season of grief,” he added.
Her passing marks the end of an era. But her works live on, touching several lives around the world.
