God Now Dwells in Man by Nwegbo Miracle Chinecherem - New Man Gospel Writing Contest 2025 Shortlisted Entries - The New Man Movement

God now dwells in me,
And I dwell in God.
In my Abba,
My Source and Sustainer.

For from Him I draw life and strength,
Hope and comfort,
Glory and grace,
Power and wisdom.

For by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Immortal now dwells in mortal,
Holy now dwells in filth,
Righteous in rebel,
King of kings in slave.

For by this same grace,
I have in me the Spirit of God.
“His Temple” He calls me,
Yielded for His every work.

For by this same grace,
The veil has been torn
That I may now freely approach He who dwells in me—
Before his throne of grace,
To obtain mercy for life.

God has purged me from my sins and past—
Giving me a new nature and beginning.
A vessel unto honour I have now become,
And ready for the Master’s use.

For by this same grace,
God has tended me, His garden,
Ridding me of all thorns and weed,
That I may spring forth fresh and life-giving fruits,
Pruning me continually
To reap pleasant harvest for Him.
