Heir of the kingdom by Godwin Gbenebichie

No longer is my torso caressed by iniquity,
as  transgression is now an antiquity,
that my body, mind and soul has disengaged from,
I am a new creature in Christ,
As the old me is stone cold dead,
and has being interred in the tomb of history,
The new me has being consecrated and christened,
in the body of Christ,
So now the hunger for soul in the pit of my gut,
Make me effortlessly proselytize new convert,
Into the fold of light,
illuminating the kingdom of darkness,
With the shimmering light of righteousness.

Grateful to be a partaker of the divine nature,
That has morphed my life in 3D,
From earthly to spiritual realm,
unearthing every inadequacies,
Deterring me from sauntering,
Through the strait and narrow path,
that leads to life eternal,
and concurrently thumping the sinful cravings,
that desire to hold me captive,
behind the bars of sin dungeon,
after my freewill has capitulated,
to the emasculation of life trappings.

Great is God's mercy towards me,
that continuously plead my righteous cause,
sifting evil desires from the fibre of my beings,
that aims to be a stumbling block,
to me enjoying the divine nature largesse,
creating a chasm between me and the father,
thus disinheriting me of my heirloom,
and making me a pariah to the body of Christ.
It is evident to even the visually impaired,
that I am nothing without God loving kindness and tender mercies.
