I Dwell in Abba's Grace by Ebenezer Mowete

The days keep rolling by, beyond my control.
I yearn more for light, more than I ever have.
Despite all my efforts, I tire, because it never is sufficient.
I’m hopeful still; Abba is still on His throne.

The Creator of the universe speaks to me:
“You are in Me, and I reside in you.”
Your Truth brings me back to life.
I’m no longer a slave to sin!
No, Your grace found me and saved me.

Abba’s abundance of grace flows through my veins.
He pulses through me, in the heart’s raw beat,
Like a river flowing, pure and free,
A boundless ocean; I’m surrounded, but not drowned.

You left Your throne in the heavens, just to dwell in my heart.
You called me out of darkness, so You could dwell in me.
Because the darkness isn’t dark to You!
And here I stand, a partaker of Your grace.

In You, I am victorious!
No chains are holding me; I’m free indeed!
Your glory is forever mirrored in my heart.
Set apart for Your praise, I am chosen.

Within my core, Your essence finds its hold.
No distant figure, on a lofty throne,
But close beside me, never left myself.
All the heavens can’t contain You, Lord,
How much less to dwell in me?

God breathes within me, every single breath,
Defeating darkness, conquering even death.
And in this union, strength begins to rise,
To taste the sweetness of His boundless grace,
To find my purpose, in Your footstool called earth.

A living vessel, filled with holy fire,
A partaker’s heart, lifted and ascending to Your throne room.
Like the seed that fell into good soil,
A living seed starts to bud and yield a hundredfold.
And in this, peace on earth and goodwill to all mankind.
