Christian Poetry: Lovest thou me more than this?

 

 

500 years on planet Earth, the

time men multiplied, in number and faults. A

father of 3, the pious ark-builder He raised by Himself.

An offering from those, the fauna he tended to, not less than five and sixty and three cento days.

lovest thou me more than your labour of one year?

An orphan, Esther is my name.

A lovely damsel to look upon, yet a captive - our land maimed.

Crown from the city's man, I married a culture alien to mine.

The one before me, they said, did not the same.

But this union, our union, to protect is a duty I am committed to, forever.

lovest thou me more than your staff of office?
