Partakers of His Grace by David Praise

 

Partakers of His Grace (2pt.1:4; Jhn.14:20) by David Praise.

For it has been divinely given as a race,
For each man his calling to embrace,
And the perfect gift be reached at right pace,
Knowing fully well, that we are partakers of His Grace.

Not by power, nor by might,
But by the spirit is attained this great height,
Establishing a future so perfectly bright,
Filled with splendor and such glorious light.

Looking unto Jesus, lightened be my face,     
Receiving such power that makes one ace,
Chasing out fear and leaving no trace,
Knowing fully well that we are partakers of His Grace.,

Believing that we have a share in God’s divine nature,
We have upon our heads His awesome signature,
Painting out victory as a sure picture,
Acknowledging dominion as our life’s culture.
We’re holding unto the promise as a clinging brace,
And making His presence our hiding place,
Digging into God’s Word, where we find solace,
Knowing fully well that we are partakers of His Grace.

Who can ever love us as our Heavenly Father,
His love is forever likened to no other,
Not to that of a brother, nor a mother,
For His love gives more evidence than we can ever gather.

We are comforted, knowing that there is a safe space,
Where we can experience love beyond the surface,
Giving an identity that we should never misplace,
Knowing fully well that we are partakers of His Grace.

Even when the storm Is wild and boisterous,
We have an assurance of being victorious,
Nay in all these we are more than conquerors,
Through Christ who hath graciously loved us.

Being sure of Heaven as our birthplace,
We’re now casting all our burdens into the furnace,  
Dissociating totally from shame, fear and disgrace,
Knowing fully well that we are partakers of His Grace.

The church as the bride, so perfect in holy lace,
The Father on His throne with His glorious mace,
To forever hold us in His eternal embrace,
Knowing fully well that we are partakers of His Grace.
