15th August,  1956 

Born on August 15, 1956, John Esuga Akpami is the founder of Global Revival Gospel Ministries Incorporated (Christian Training Center) in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. His ministry has contributed significantly to Pentecostal teachings and leadership training in Nigeria.

15th August, 1988 

On this day, Yoido Full Gospel Church in Seoul, South Korea, led by Pastor David Yonggi Cho, commenced the 88th World Evangelism Crusade, also known as "Soulympics." The event attracted approximately three million attendees, marking a significant moment in global Pentecostal evangelism.

15th August, 1989 

On this day, various national fellowships of the Assemblies of God united to form the World Pentecostal Assemblies of God Fellowship. This initiative, spearheaded by Reverend Dr. J. Philip Hogan, then Executive Director of the Division of Foreign Missions of the Assemblies of God USA, aimed to foster global cooperation among Pentecostal believers.

15th August, 2017

On this day, a comprehensive 40-chapter book detailing the life and ministry of Pastor E.A. Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), was officially presented.  The book highlights his spiritual journey, challenges, and achievements.
