Passion for the Needy Initiative (PNI) has officially announced registrations for the 2nd edition of its annual Children Bootcamp, a 3-day in-camp gathering designed for children and pre-teenagers aged 6-14. The 2025 edition of the bootcamp, themed "Delight", is scheduled to take place from August 29th to 31st, 2025.
Empowering the Next Generation
Passion for the Needy Initiative (PNI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and mentorship to children in need. The organisation runs with a goal is to empower the next generation with the skills, knowledge, and values necessary to succeed in life. This overall goal aligns with this year's bootcamp theme "Delight" which is enshrined in scriptures in the book of Psalms 1:1-3:
"1. Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, 2. But whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night. 3. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers."
The PNI Children Bootcamp aims to provide a platform for children, especially those from rural communities, to experience life-changing mentorship and exposure to modern realities. Through extensive mentorship, the bootcamp will impact godly principles, fruitful discipline, and focus on academic development. Our vision is to mentor children to be the best they can be and help shape their life goals.
At PNI, the mission for this bootcamp is to provide an environment for correct and adequate mentorship of children, boosting their morale for proper development, and galvanizing their passion towards fruitful discipline and focus on academic development. The organisation's core values include a passion for children, grooming and mentorship, stewardship, and responsibility.
