The Founder and Senior Pastor of Daystar Christian Centre, Pastor Sam Adeyemi, and his wife, Pastor Nike Adeyemi, are celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary today, May 1, 2026.
The couple, who got married on May 1, 1993, have become a model of faith, friendship, and partnership in ministry and marriage. Over three decades, they have grown together “through thick and thin,” raising leaders and impacting lives across Nigeria and beyond.
In past anniversary tributes, Pastor Nike expressed gratitude for their journey, saying, “On the 1st of May 1993, stepped out in faith and love to say ‘I do’. Grateful for 30 graceful married years. Happy wedding anniversary to us. We’ve grown together through thick and thin, you are enough, you are amazing! I love you.” e1db
Pastor Sam has also celebrated his wife as his “dear Adenike Omoge,” noting, “It’s been 25 years of doing life together: of praying, playing, sharing, preaching, traveling, making babies, and changing the world together. We began with dreams, hopes and a sure word from God… My world would never have been the same without you.”
Together, the Adeyemis lead Daystar Christian Centre, one of Africa’s most influential churches focused on raising leaders. While Pastor Sam serves as Senior Pastor, Pastor Nike, who is Deputy Senior Pastor, also runs the Real Women Foundation, blessing women and winning souls across communities. d45e
The couple are blessed with three children: Sophie Adeyemi, a master’s degree holder from Emory School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia; Tyke David Toluwani Adeyemi, a Bachelor of Arts graduate from the same institution; and their daughter Adora Adeyemi.
As they mark 33 years, family, friends, and members of Daystar Christian Centre worldwide join in celebrating their love, commitment, and example of godly marriage.
