Early Life
Pastor Akin Akinpelu was born into hardship in Lagos, Nigeria, where, by his own account, the street served as his classroom and survival as his first teacher. As a young person, he sold as many as sixteen different products just to help keep food on the table for his family. He has described his rise from that background - not as a matter of luck, but of vision, grit, and an unshakeable belief in the power of a transformed mind - as central to the message he now carries into boardrooms, classrooms, and pulpits alike.
Education
Professor Akin Akinpelu holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Physics, a Master's degree, and an MBA, along with two doctoral-level credentials: a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Trident University, USA, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Myles Leadership University, where he also serves on the board.

Pastor Akin Akinpelu is Lead Pastor of The Cosmopolitan Eden Centre, a movement built around discovering, developing, and deploying "Kingdom Ambassadors" across different spheres of society. He describes his ministry mandate as raising a generation equipped to take territories for God, standing in what he calls a threefold mantle of King, Priest, and Prophet - a framework drawn from Revelation 11:15, which he cites as his life's guiding mantra: that the kingdoms of this world are to become the Kingdom of the Lord and of His Christ.

He serves on several boards, including as Board Chair of Reftop Homes, Board Chair of the Recycling Research and Education Centre (RREC), and as a board member of GOTNI Leadership University, J. Nissi Schools, and Myles Leadership University.
He has also served as Project Director for Volunteer Corps, through which he impacted thousands of students across Nigeria via large-scale educational and capacity-building initiatives.
Personal Life and Family
Pastor Akin Akinpelu is happily married to his heartthrob, Olamide Akinpelu, a lead counselor and seasoned human resources and administration professional. Together, they are raising two children in a home the couple describes as grounded in faith, love, and purpose.
