Former RCCG Teens Pastor Faces Internal Investigation Over Sexual Misconduct Allegations

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) has commenced an internal disciplinary process following allegations of sexual misconduct against former National Teens President, Adefolarin Fowosere, popularly known as Pastor Ade Fire.

Fowosere, 22, previously served as the lead pastor of RCCG The Revival House, a ministry focused on teenagers and young adults, and was actively involved in the church’s national teens ministry before his departure from the role. 

The allegations, which surfaced on social media, have generated widespread discussion within Christian circles, prompting the church to begin an internal review.

A representative who identified himself as Fowosere’s media spokesperson confirmed that the matter is already before the appropriate authorities within the church.

According to the spokesperson, Fowosere had reportedly been appearing before the office of the church’s leadership for over a week before the allegations gained public attention online. 

As of the time of reporting, the RCCG has not publicly disclosed the specific nature of the allegations or the status of its investigation. Likewise, no criminal charges have been announced by law enforcement authorities in connection with the claims.

The development has once again drawn attention to the importance of accountability, safeguarding, and transparency within Christian ministries, particularly those working with children, teenagers, and young adults.

Church governance experts have consistently encouraged ministries to establish clear safeguarding policies, investigate allegations fairly and promptly, and ensure that both complainants and accused persons are treated with justice and due process.
