The Founder and Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, has described unity as Nigeria’s greatest strength, urging citizens and the Christian community to reject division and work together for peace, justice and national transformation.

Enenche made the call during the Northern Christian Stakeholders’ 2nd Solemn Assembly held at The Glory Dome, Abuja, where Christian leaders gathered to deliberate on insecurity, persecution and the future of the Church in Northern Nigeria.

According to the cleric, division weakens individuals, communities and nations, while unity provides the collective strength needed to overcome even the most difficult challenges.

He stressed that Christians must speak with one voice, support one another and refuse to allow differences to undermine their witness in a season when many believers are facing persecution and insecurity.

Enenche noted that a united Church possesses greater influence and resilience, adding that people become stronger when they stand together rather than face challenges in isolation. He encouraged believers to build relationships marked by mutual support, cooperation and shared purpose.

The conference also highlighted the need for greater national concern for the sanctity of human life, with participants calling on leaders at every level to prioritise the protection of citizens and pursue lasting solutions to Nigeria’s security challenges.

Speaking during the gathering, organisers presented data documenting years of attacks on Christian communities in parts of Northern Nigeria and renewed calls for coordinated advocacy, peacebuilding and justice for affected communities.

Dr Enenche maintained that lasting peace cannot be achieved through division but through unity, compassion and a shared commitment to defending the dignity of every human life.

He challenged Christians across denominational lines to strengthen collaboration, pray for the nation and continue serving as agents of reconciliation.

The assembly concluded with renewed appeals for national unity, justice and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, regardless of ethnic or religious background.
