Evangelist Tonto Dikeh Unveils New Ministry, Announces Weekly Meetings

Nollywood actress and public figure Evangelist Tonto Dikeh has unveiled a new spiritual movement, the New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle (NWPT), describing it as an interdenominational altar and a global movement of believers committed to experiencing the power, purity and presence of God.

Evangelist Dikeh announced the development on Sunday, 9th August, 2026, through her official social media platform, presenting NWPT as a spiritual community built around the biblical principle in Mark 2:22: “And no one puts new wine into old wineskins.”

According to the movement’s description, New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle is intended to serve as a spiritual home and gathering place for believers who desire genuine revival, spiritual transformation and a deeper walk with God.

“NWPT exists as a dwelling place of His presence for those who refuse to settle for lukewarm Christianity and are hungry for genuine revival, fire, and transformation,” the movement stated.

A vision for global spiritual awakening

The movement’s stated vision is to see “a global awakening of consecrated believers operating in the raw power, purity, and presence of God, transforming nations and establishing the Kingdom of Christ on Earth.”

Its mission centres on building an interdenominational altar of prayer, revival and apostolic training.

According to its mission statement, NWPT seeks to equip spiritual “watchmen,” activate spiritual gifts, encourage persistent evangelism and facilitate freedom for those described as captive through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The movement also makes a distinction between itself and a conventional church.

“This is not a church; it is an intense gathering of those consecrated and equipped for the purposes of God,” the statement reads. “A people set apart, refined by His presence, and commissioned to advance His Kingdom.”

Weekly fellowship begins in Abuja

New Wine Prophetic Tabernacle will hold its weekly fellowship every Friday at 6:00pm in Abuja.

The gathering will take place at Omini Grand Hotel, formerly Alexis Hotel, upstairs by Masalachi Junction, Jabi, FCT-Abuja.

Interested participants can contact the movement on +234 803 935 0469 or +234 813 455 9555.

Dikeh’s announcement comes months after she became increasingly vocal about her Christian faith, including her use of the name “Ada El-Roi” and her participation in the NSPPD community associated with Pastor Jerry Eze.

In December 2025, the actress also publicly shared a testimony during a service at Streams of Joy International Church, where she spoke about what she described as her deliverance from smoking, alcohol addiction, masturbation and prolonged anger issues.

The launch of NWPT marks another significant development in Evangelist Tonto Dikeh’s increasingly public expression of her Christian faith, as the actress now takes on a new role in establishing a spiritual movement centred on prayer, revival, consecration and evangelism.
