Born on the 25th of January 1963 to Joseph Adefarasin, a Nigerian High Court judge from Ijebu Ode, and Hilda Adefarasin, a women's rights activist from Lagos State, Pastor Paul Adefarasin is a Gospel minister and evangelist. He is the Senior Pastor of the House on the Rock Church, headquartered in Lagos.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin is also the host of The Experience, an annual interdenominational gospel worship concert with several hundreds of thousands of people in attendance from all over the globe. The Experience lives up to its stellar reputation as the largest, free all-night gospel concert held in Africa and arguably, the world. In its 16th year (as at December 2021) running since December 2005, the concert features exceptional gospel music by some of the most celebrated recording artistes of our time. The concert has hosted gospel artistes such as Travis Greene, Sinach, Pastor Nathaniel Bassey, Don Moen, Donnie McClurkin, Evangelist Tope Alabi, Planetshakers, Chioma Jesus, Eben, Onos, Minister Sammie Okposo, Todd Dulaney, Minister Mercy Blessed (Nee Chinwo) and many others.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin attended St Saviour's School in Ikoyi, and Igbobi College in Yaba. He went on to study at the University of Miami, graduating with a Bachelor of Architecture. He practiced in Florida before returning to Nigeria. He also studied at the International Bible Institute of London where he graduated with a Diploma in Christian Ministry.
With direct access and mentoring from his spiritual father, Bishop T.D. Jakes, Pastor Adefarasin has written, authored, and self-published over 20 motivational Christian mini-books and multimedia resources.
In June 1995, Pastor Paul Adefarasin married Pastor Mrs. Ifeanyi Adefarasin, a former beauty queen. They have three children.
