Our Reality in Christ
When you look at the mirror, what do you see? When you see yourself through God's word as a spectacle, what do you see? Since your acceptance into the family of Christ, what were your expectations? As an individual, have you ever asked yourself the question - "Who am I?"
The Bible tells us a good news. The good news is that we are the the complete essence of everything that can never go wrong. First, this means that we are righteous. 2nd Corinthians 5:21 says,"He hath made him [to be] sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him". As a result, we are the righteousness of God and that is the first phase in understanding our reality. Our reality in Christ also tells us that sin has no dominion over us because we are new creatures. The Bible again in 2nd Corinthians 5:17 says rightly that if any man [be] in Christ, [he is] a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This is one reason why we can go through life as a winner and with no sense of condemnation!
Another interesting fact about our reality is the world-overcoming victory faith in us. We are not suffering from the anger or condemnation of God but instead, we enjoy the conviction of the Holy Spirit, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the love of God. This part of our reality gives us access so that we enjoy prosperity and Divine health because we have Christ. The Bible says in 3rd John 1:2, Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
We are not to go through life defeated. We are not to live life like a loser because our reality is in one living hope-Jesus Christ.
