Prayer

Lord we thank you for Brazil. Thank you for your light in this land.

Dear God, our trust is in you. Help our nation to grow in your will and give us a heart to love you. Take away evil thoughts from our leaders and help them to make decisions that will not hurt the citizens. Help us to overcome the plans of the enemy and save us from disaster. Help us to manage our country's resources and focus them rightly in Jesus' name.

When everything seems impossible, make a way Lord, and heal our land. When we are ashamed, remind us to be resilient and firm in you. Let us remember that You are bigger than our national and collective fears. We pray too that You continuously surround us with the right support from the international community.

Teach our nation to let go of all the sadness and frustration that stops us from seeing the goodness of the people, nations and things around us Save our land from war, crime and terrorism. We pray that your love shall dwell in the hearts of men and cause them to do your will. We pray that there shall be no massive death of any kind. There shall be no plague upon the land. We avert every tragedy coming in the guise of natural or man-made disasters in Jesus' name.

We pray for peace in this land in Jesus' name. Amen
