Born on 15th August, 1956 Reverend Dr. John Esuga Akpami is the founding Pastor and President of the Global Revival Gospel Ministries Inc aka Christian Teaching Centre, Zaria, Kaduna State. He is a seasoned teacher of God's word and a 21st century leader.
Reverend Dr John Esuga Akpami became born again at young age (14 year old). When he noticed the call of God upon his life, he responded. Dr John Akpanmi is a medical doctor by profession and medicine at Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH), Tundun Wada, and Zaria.
Having known God early in life, he received the call of God in 1983, when he encountered the Lord while he was praying in his closet during the days of his medical practice. His encounter with the Lord led him to start a mini bible study group with some people with his environment. Dr. John Akpami was committed to this vision and he began to mature people in Christ through small group bible study.

The small bible study grew such that in the year 1987, Dr. John Akpami established or pioneered a revival ministry in the North called Christian Teaching Centre Family Church. Recent update is that, Reverend John Akpami’s ministry which is Global Revival Gospel Ministries founded another named Global Revival Gospel Ministries. The ministry is located in Kaduna state (Zaria).
