Professor Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries International has officially announced the dates for the ministry’s Annual 70 Days Fasting and Prayer Programme. He made this announcement at the August 2026 Power Must Change Hands Programme which held at the MFM International Prayer City Camp Ground, Ibafo, Ogun State, Nigeria.
Through this announcement, the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) invites members across Nigeria and around the world to participate in what the church describes as a season of intense prayer, fasting and spiritual renewal.
According to the announcement, participants are expected to observe the fast in line with the official Prayer and Fasting Guide, which contains daily prayer points, fasting schedules and other spiritual instructions designed to help worshippers maximize the programme.
Dr. Olukoya stated that participants should break their fast at 5:00 p.m. on Mondays and Fridays, while fasting on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays should end at 2:00 p.m.
The ministry also encouraged participants to pray daily using the official 70 Days Prayer Booklet, which is available at MFM Bookshops and MFM regional headquarters and branches worldwide.
Church leaders noted that the annual programme is aimed at deepening believers’ relationship with God through sustained prayer, biblical meditation and fasting, while seeking divine intervention in personal, family and national matters.
To ensure participants remain informed throughout the exercise, MFM urged members to join its official Telegram community, where daily updates, announcements and other programme information will be shared.
The ministry further invited participants seeking clarification on any aspect of the programme to reach out through its designated communication channels or contact the nearest MFM branch.
The annual 70 Days Prayer and Fasting Programme is one of MFM’s most anticipated spiritual exercises, drawing millions of participants from across the globe each year as they gather in pursuit of spiritual growth, breakthroughs and revival.
Announcing the fasting and prayer programme, the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), Professor Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, stated that participants are required to break their fast by 5PM on Mondays and Fridays. On the other hand, he mentioned that for every other day, participants are required to break their fast by 2PM.
Themed "Prayer Battle", this year’s annual fasting and prayer programme is set to birth total deliverance from spiritual battles, wage war against the enemies of prosperity and help believer grow in grace and stature with God. Like the previous years, the programme is set to record much more testimonies to the glory of God and to the shame of the devil.
