The Muyiwa Adigun Studios is set to host a 2025 Special edition of its popular musical stage play titled Pelumi.
Pelumi, a widely known musical stage play by Muyiwa Adigun Studios, had its first performance in 2012 and since then has been performed on the stages of various universities like Obafemi Awolowo University, FUTA, Kings’ University, and the Adeyemi College of education among others.
The musical stage play title, “Pelumi” is a Yoruba word coined from. The words “Stay with me” and this specially speaks to the love tone of the stage play. The play usually symbolizes the need for a godly, beautiful love life among individuals, especially couples.
Pelumi is scheduled to hold on the 11th and 14 of February in OAU Ile-Ife and Lagos, Nigeria, respectively. At the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Pelumi will hold at the prestigious Oduduwa Hall by 5:00PM on Sunday, February 11th, 2024. The music stage play will also be performed on the 14th of February, 2024 at the Elevation Church, Lagos, Nigeria.
The producer of the Musical stage play, Muyiwa Adigun is the popular host of the Muyiwa Adigun show, a Compere, Folk musician and actor. He is a unique artiste with many sides and putting his song, Pelumi, into a stage play has given him the platform to give everything he does to his audience on one stage.
