Evangelist Iyke Ferdinand Okeke, was born on 5th December, 1983 at Onitsha, Anambra State Nigeria. He hails from Arondizuogu in Okigwe Local government area of Imo state, Nigeria.
He attended primary school at Ezechima primary school inland town Onitsha and thereafter proceeded to Holy Ghost juniorate seminary where he obtained his Senior School Certificate. Passing all his subjects with distinctions coupled with a good grade in his University Matriculation Examinations, he proceeded to University of Nigeria Nsukka, where he obtained a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering with second class upper division.
He later proceeded to University of Pretoria South Africa and Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town South Africa respectively for his masters degree in computer technology and networking technician.
In his years of pursuing his post graduate degrees and certificates in South Africa, he answered the call of God in his life. Starting a prison fellowship and visiting and ministering to inmates in both Pretoria and Johannesburg prisons.
In 2018, he came back to Nigeria, where he founded Gideon Evangelical Mission International, following divine instructions after a life-changing encounter he had with the Lord. He has since then continued and advanced his prison and hospital fellowship.
However, as a deliverance minister, he has ministered in many churches, programs, families and schools both within and outside Nigeria.
Evangelist Iyke is a firebrand evangelist, a missionary, a revivalist and a man whose ardent love and burning zeal for Jesus Christ and the expansion of the kingdom of God and depopulation of hell is irrefutable. His deep love for God and His people is seen in the way he devotes and dedicates his entire life and time in serving God and his people selflessly. Labouring assiduously in the work of ministry, even neglecting his personal needs and desires most times.
He preaches salvation, repentance from sin and every work of darkness and deliverance from satanic powers, while teaching and educating believers on their new identity in Christ Jesus (New Creation Identity).
Evangelist Iyke Okeke is married to a beautiful wife Evangelist Mrs Chidinma Glory Iyke-Okeke, an accountant, a child evangelist, a missionary and co-founder of Gideon Evangelical Mission International. They both have a lovely son together.
Evangelist Iyke runs a digital prayer platform called Prayer Room which has touched and impacted a great number of lives and families in both Nigeria and overseas.
He's very active on Facebook, where he constantly shares his messages to the public.
