Ondo State Christian Women Declare Prayer Chain for Aiyedatiwa’s Administration

In a spirit of unity and devotion, women across Ondo State are coming together for a one-day prayer chain on Monday, January 13, 2025.

This solemn event aims to seek the face of God for divine protection and sustained peace for the state and its amiable Governor, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

Inspired by 1st Timothy 2:1-2, which urges supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving for all people, especially those in authority, the women of Ondo State recognize their role as nurturers and intercessors. They believe it is their obligation to pray for the leaders and people of the state, ensuring a peaceful and quiet life.

The prayer chain will take place from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Government House Chapel in Alagbaka and across all prayer altars in homes throughout the 18 local government areas.

Ministering in word and prayers is the revered Reverend Mrs. Funke Felix-Adejumo of the Agape Christian Ministries Incorporated, Akure, while Mrs. Maryam Ajipe will lead the congregants in worship, accompanied by other anointed men of God.

According to the official press release, all  participants are encouraged to fast and join in prayer for the greatness of Ondo State, affectionately known as the "Sunshine State." This collective effort will hopefully invoke divine guidance, protection, and blessings upon the state and its leadership.
