On this day, Adegboyega Edun (né Jacob Henryson Samuel) was born. He was an Egba official and an ordained minister in the Methodist Church. He served as the secretary of the Egba United Government.

22nd July, 1923

On this day, Chief Nathaniel Folarin Coker was born. Chief Coker was baptized at Christ Church Marina and served as the Bishop of Lagos from 1963 to 1974.

On this day, Bishop Adekunle Ajala was born in Osogbo. He is the founder of Hands On World Mission and the President and CEO of AdeAjala Ministries.
