Biography of Evangelist Joshua Mike Bamiloye (Jaymikee)

Popularly known as Jaymikee, Joshua Mike Bamiloye is the second son of Evangelist Mike and Gloria Bamiloye, drama evangelists, ministers and veteran actors of the Mount Zion Faith Ministries. 

Born on November 7, 1991, Joshua Mike Bamiloye has grown to become a music artiste, public speaker, music producer, digital artiste, movie actor and evangelist. As siblings, he has Evangelist Damilola Mike Bamiloye and Pastor Darasimi Lawrence Oyor (nee Bamiloye) as his elder brother and younger sister respectively.

A native of Ilesha, Osun State, Jay Mikee is known for his religious-based lyrics and songs. At the age of 14, he commenced his ministry as a background music producer for Mount Zion Film Productions. Aside from music production, Jay Mikee is a professional graphic designer, video and music editor. He is also the Creative Director of the Mount Zion Film Productions and a TedX Speaker.

Evangelist Joshua Mike Bamiloye is a graduate of Mass Communication from Bowen University. He began his career at a very young age after his father, Mike Bamiloye, noticed his talent he allowed him produced music for some of their movies. He has quite a number of songs to his name.

Joshua Mike-Bamiloye is a multifaceted Christian content creator, gospel music producer, and drama minister. A TedX Speaker

He directs Mount Zion Music Studios, having produced six albums, four EPs, and numerous singles. He has contributed music and sound effects to over 90 movies, primarily for Mount Zion Film Productions.

Joshua also runs the ZION KULTURE YouTube channel and edits for Mount Zion Film Productions, overseeing post-production on more than 35 films. Creator of the comedy series "Jay & Josh" and the children's ministry CFT, he has trained over 1,000 students at Mount Zion Film Academy.

He co-founded STUDIO 5:13 and leads its Animations Department. He holds a Mass Communication degree from Bowen University and is married with a son.

W hat informed the idea behind the name, Jay- mikee? Was there a day when the pieces of your life started coming together letting you know there was so much to your life as a child born into a popular Christian family?

Okay... That's a good question.

So, the name JAY MIKEE started in 2015 after my NYSC, When I wanted to open an account. Funny enough, it was a very funny concept. It was not a mystical idea, rather, because I wanted to open an account on one of the music streaming platforms, I think reverbnation.com and the name JAY MIKE J-A-Y-M-I-K-E was taken. I did not want to use the full name, Joshua Mike Bamiloye, as I felt it was too long. At that point, I felt JAY MIKE sounded good enough, but it was taken, so I just added an extra suffix “e” to it, and that was how I realised it was available. Hence, the name JAY MIKEE.

So, the thing is, it was not a day that everything in my life just came togeth- er and became organised. It was a process, which was over time. There- fore, the idea of my identity, which of course I knew right from my school days, but the precise nature of what I was going to do exactly began to take shape after school. After NYSC, that was when I knew that, yes!, this is what I was going to do full time and it keeps manifesting, even, till

She is one of the three daughters to Pastor Johnson Funsho Odesola, Assistant General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God. They got married in November 2019 and are blessed with a son. Jaymikee and Teemikee welcomed their son on 22nd December, 2021. He is Jason Jesuferanmi Ibukunoluwa.
