At its 2022 Convocation ceremony, the Mountain Top University, founded by Professor Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, has announced Victoria Chinenyenwa Amaechi as the best graduating student of the institution.
Graduating with a Cummulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.96 out of 5.0 from the Department of Microbiology, Victoria Chinenyenwa Amaechi has set a record at the 4th Convocation ceremony of the varsity which held at the University Multipurpose Hall on Thursday, 22nd of December, 2022.
The Governor of Ogun state, Prince Dr. Dapo Abiodun who graced the university convocation ceremony as the Guest speaker, gifted Victoria Amaechi with a honorarium of 2 Million Naira.
In a video posted on Instagram by Kingdom Memes, Victoria Amaechi emerged best graduating student out of 31 first class graduates and 259 total graduates of the university. The 31 first class students emerged from the College of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences which produced 11 while the College of Basic and Applied Sciences produced 20.
In his words after delivery of the convocation lecture, titled ‘The Youths as Catalysts in Building Nigeria’s Future’, Governor Dapo Abiodun said “We will be supporting this lady who has been able to combine academics with students activities to emerge top. Being the overall best student, and also the President of the Student Council, I hope to see you in leadership positions, and even the first female president of Nigeria.”
The Vice Chancellor of the Mountain Top University, Professor Elijah Ayolabi also expressed excitement that the seven-year-old faith-based private institution graduated its five pioneer postgraduate students at the ceremony.
