The journey of purpose fulfilment is a lonely journey

Following the story of Jesus' journey through purpose fulfillment, I realized that while He was on earth fulfilling His purpose, healing the sick, and spreading the gospel, He had the companionship of His disciples and people seeking help from Him.

However, something caught my attention: at the peak of fulfilling the original purpose of His existence, He was isolated. Even His disciples had to leave Him to it at that point.

Here, I learned that whenever we feel isolated and alone while doing what God has asked us to do, that's exactly when we should push more. It means we are at the peak of fulfilling what God wants us to fulfill.

People might oppose us, trying to protect us, just like Peter tried to by cutting off the ear of one of the soldiers who came to arrest Jesus. Their ways of helping might not please us, but instead of getting angry or upset with them, we should learn to correct them in love, just like Jesus did, and focus on what God wants us to do.

Another important lesson I learned is that we can't fulfill our purpose without sacrifice. Jesus had to sacrifice His own life to fulfill His purpose, and we may have to make sacrifices as well. This could mean giving up our comfort, our time, or even our relationships.

It's also important to remember that our purpose is not just about us, but about serving others. Jesus came to serve humanity, and we should have the same mindset. When we focus on serving others, we find fulfillment and purpose.

Furthermore, we should be mindful of the fact that our purpose is tied to our obedience to God. When we obey God's instructions, we are fulfilling our purpose. Jesus obeyed God's instructions, even when it was difficult, and we should strive to do the same.

Conclusion

The loneliness we experience while fulfilling our purpose is not a sign of abandonment or isolation, but rather a sign that we are on the verge of achieving what God has called us to do. We should push through the loneliness, stay focused on our purpose, and trust that God is guiding us every step of the way.
