Biography of Apostle Edu Jedidiah Udechukwu

Apostle Edu Udechukwu is a man of prayer, A Revivalist, A Discipler, A Teacher par excellence, An Apostle to Nations and a Prophet of God. He was born on the 26th of June to the family of Late Rev. Dr. Josiah Udechukwu and Rev. Mrs Ogochukwu Udechukwu (Both indigenes of Akaboezem, Uruagu, Nnewi, Anambra State)

 

 

By the nature of his birth into a Christian family, he received a heritage of an Evangelical Christian Faith. From His early years, he had believed in the Power and significance of the Spoken Word and that all of its exposition and application should be vitally related to the actual and growing need of the Spiritual life of representative bodies of God's people. Being the first among five children, he began his Pacesetting from His Basic Education; completed at Dennis Memorial Grammar School and His tertiary Education at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka where he studied Food science and Technology.

During these years in the university, he also served under a ministry as an Ushering Department Leader, Cell Leader and Pastor from 2008 to 2014. It was then that an undying hunger for God drew him to the backsides of the mountain where he began to learn the ways of fasting and prayer. Consistency in seeking, cries of the spirit and desperation led to an encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in his hostel room on campus, this was the hallmark and a testament of a true beginning in his journey that led to entering campgrounds with a sent mentality.

He did his National Youth Service in Abeokuta, Ogun state where he served as the State Prayer Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Corpers' Fellowship (NCCF) from 2014 to 2015. The deepest impressions of His service came from His prayer life and its challenge to those who gathered with him at the family house. It was during this year that he entered the wombs of revival; Groanings and travails, sighs and weeping, Agonies of the Spirit – Birthpangs. Giving expressions to his encounters and heavenly visions, he continued on the path of spiritual progress, with much diligence, obedience, focus and importunity. The testimony of his pursuit became likened unto the Patriarchs of faith, who through patience and longsuffering sought for a city, whose builder and maker is God which necessitated him to enter hallowed consecrations and master stewarding his hunger into consistent spiritual disciplines. 

During this time, in the mature days of his seeking, a dissatisfaction awakened in his soul regarding his life, purpose, destiny and executing the instructions and visions he received from God. Clad with zeal and a burning hunger, passion and desire for direction and divine confirmations, he set his face as flint and sought the Lord in a new dept. Filled with the burdens of revival, and a vow he had made to pay the price, He understood the requirements of finding God in new densities. With much prayer, fasting, studying, and lavished with consumed books of Leonard Ravenhill, E.M Bounds, Charles Finney, Daniel Nash to mention but a few; The burdens of God upon his heart burned like the coals of fire. Bound to his alter, he groaned and travailed in abandoned buildings for hours and days, waiting upon the Lord.

Many heavenly encounters became a byproduct of his intercourse with God and in the year 2019, the divine directions to bring expression to the burdens of his calling, led to the beginning of the Revivalhub Ministries International: A ministry widely recognized for it's stewardship of Abundant Grace in Prayer with Emphasis on the intense working of the Holy Spirit in and through men. Since then, he’s been in fulltime service as the President, overseeing many apostolic centers locally, nationally and internationally.

His teachings strips away the centuries of misunderstanding that has caused us to accept the Church in her present condition. With attendant Proofs of Great outpouring of the Spirit of Prayer, Miraculous Signs and divers manifestations of the Spirit He re-echoes this emphasis across several nations of the World. Over the years, Apostle Edu Udechukwu has been faithfully building according to the heavenly vision by raising sons for God and establishing the kingdom of The Lord Jesus Christ. Rooted in the pillars of Prayer, Purity and Power, the foundation of which is such that translates from time to eternity.

Apostle Edu Jedidiah Udechukwu is an international preacher, apostle and teacher of the word of God. He is currently the overseer and lead pastor of the Revival Hub International with branches in Enugu and Anambra with its headquarters at 2nd Floor, Banex Plaza (White House), Nkwo Nnewi, Anambra State.

A graduate of Food Science and Technology, Apostle Ede Udechukwu is a mentee to the revered Apostle Arome Osayi. After his education, he proceeded to serve his fatherland during the NYSC programme in Ogun State, Nigeria. He has accorded his growth in ministry and spiritual grace to the graciousness of God through the life of Apostle Arome Osayi who has mentored and fathered many spiritual sons like Apostle Edu Udechukwu, including Apostle Mike Orokpo, Minister Theophilus Sunday, Apostle Joel Ogebe, Reverend Tolu Agboola, Reverend Austin Ukporhe and many more.

Apostle Edu Udechukwu is the host and convener of the International Sonship Conference, an annual gathering of spiritual sons of God with a divine heritage. He also hosts the 50 Days of Pentecost, a programme dedicated to revive the spiritual fire in believers.

Apostle Edu Udechukwu is happily married to his heartthrob, Pastor Mrs Vera Udechukwu (Nee Obi). They got married in September, 2022 and they're blessed with a son. Together, they are carrying on the banner of the Lord Jesus Christ.
